What I really want for Christmas...as prompted by Frauline Jack ;0)

1. I want to wake up every morning, walk to my living-room glass doors, and see snow falling outside/lightly covering the roofs of the houses across the way.

2. I want to go to a midnight candle light Christmas Eve service and sing "O Holy Night."

3. I want celebrate Hanukah...I want to celebrate God's faithfulness, and I want to do it liturgically....can that fall under what I want for Christmas ;0)

4. I want to be able to sit on the couch that is not proportioned for me and my 3 siblings, and

laugh about ridiculous things while beating on them and ignoring my parents pleas to "stop grab assin'!"

5. I want to wake up to the sound of a far off train and the heater clunking while my parents' house is quiet and I'm comfortably nestled in my bed

6. I want to stand on the edge of a field of snow that is perfect...no footprints, snowmen, or dog contributions...with a sky so light that makes it almost feel like day time.

7. I want my gifts to others to communicate that "you are important to me, and I took time to consider you."

8. I want to embrace the ridiculousness that is 24 hours of "A Christmas Story" from Christmas Eve to Day in my family

9. I want to truly celebrate that Jesus was born and how remarkable that is.

10. I want to be able to rationalize buying someone 7 days of Snuggies....priceless.
