I don't know what it is about some days...

As my last blog entry gives witness, I believe dated March of last year, I haven't felt so inclined to blog. I don't know if it is the combination of snow and dashboard confessional with a bit of dark chocolate brownie that has given me some urge to write or maybe 11 months off feels, all of a sudden, adequate.

I've been entertaining thoughts of the pros and cons regarding leaving my current job and finding another one. I don't consider myself as seriously considering it, but am entertained with the idea. Especially since my backup vocational plans are mail person and bricklayer (in that order). There seem to be a few driving objectives here. One is anxiety level. Another is simplicity. And, naturally, lack of impulse control. Nevertheless, any great aspiration requires a quintessential pro/con list...how else do you make life changing decision ;0)

Caseworker (current job):

Pro: Helping kids/families

Con: Anxiety, stress, long hours

Pro: Great coworkers

Con: The System

Pro: I like the jist of what I do

Con: Fat Butt Disease

from sitting all day

Mailperson:

Pro: Minimal face to face interaction

Con: Bad weather

Pro: Driving a mailtruck.

Con: Email, also, dogs

Pro: Easy peasy

Con: Ugly pants

Bricklayer:

Pro: I'm a bricklayer!!!

Con: Sunburn?

Pro: Potentially good looking male coworkers

Con: I have ZERO training

Pro:Repetitive manual labor

Con: Mostly/Entirely unrealistic
